Welcome to I am Reading Now, your number one Children’s Book Club. This is a virtual reading enrichment program to support children all over the United States. We’re dedicated to providing your child with an opportunity to become an excellent reader. Emphasis is on encouraging young readers to gain a deeper understanding of the texts we read as a group.
Founded in 2021 by Tamara Michel, I am Reading Now is designed to broaden young readers’ vocabulary skills, promote reading fluency and to enhance listening and comprehension skills. Tamara’s passion for helping her daughter become an avid reader, drove her to start her own business. Engaging activities are designed to strengthen independent, shared and guided reading skills. We also provide a reading corner for children to become confident readers.
Tamara is passionate about helping our children become fluent readers with quality writing skills. She wants to help as many young readers improve their reading ability. Her goal is to help each child develop essential reading strategies that helps them read for meaning and understanding – not only to complete an assignment. It pleases her to see children get a head start in their reading comprehension and thrive to the next level.
